"Creating a Community of Readers" is our motto. We are passionate about your reading life and those you share it with.

Book Clubs are scheduled for once a month at both High St. and Beaumont locations, and there are currently 10 groups running! Go to our Book Club sign up page to pick the group with a seat available that matches your availability at High St or Beaumont! If the group you prefer is full, please contact us at info@dcbook.co or (825)512-1342 to be put on a Wait List so you can be contacted when a spot opens up.

Here are some guidelines for our monthly bookish get-togethers:
  • Being a part of a community that embraces and enjoys each other is very important to us. We want you to feel that this is a community that loves books and welcomes you with open arms. All views, opinions, and perspectives about each book are permitted and all are welcome! The book is not offended by our opinions, so we shouldn't be either.
  • Book Clubs meet once a month, after store hours, so there will be no distractions from our fabulous literary banter or giggly silliness. 
  • Each group chooses their own books to read and discuss. You get out of it what you put into it, so recommend books and then READ the chosen books to contribute to the discussion.
  • Food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted. Please bring your own, none are provided on-site
  • There is a $5 fee for each month, and sign ups are for 6 months or 1 year. Payment to register and secure your seat is required. 
  • An email with Book Club details will be sent upon registering
